Hello,
I have been using blackvoices as an education tool to learn another culture, recently Blackvoices has changed to Blackvisions, I was was invited by several members on Blackvoices, and I signed up at BlackVisions. I recented a welcome email, however, once administrators at Blackvisions learned my race (white), I was banned from the forums. It is clearly a discrimination, and I also feel it is segregating the people, to me this is wrong. If I started a public discussion board and excluced other races,I would be faced with discrimination. I do not believe in preferentual treatment, all this does increase racism. I am upset that I am being excluded because of my race, but more angery because someone has stopped me from learning, so that I can use this gained knowledge in my career. Where is the justice and is there exclusion of discrimination on public discussion forums?
Ammy
