employmentPosted by Melarnie Torres on January 04, 2011 at 19:59:21:
I am working in a government health institution for
more than 5 years. A year ago, I applied for a higher position and fortunately promoted but turned out to be a temporary item position because the HR told me that I still need to comply a requirement: to have at least one year experience in the said position. I was hesitant to accept it because of the "temporary position." But they assured me after one year I will be back to permanency. Now, I have complied with their requirement but still haven't got my permanent item. A memo came stating that all casual/temporary employees will be terminated. Where can I seek help? To whom can I make an appeal regarding my situation? Please help. I've been working in this institution for almost 6 years. And I can proudly say that I am a dedicated, loyal, honest, industrious worker..
