What is the statue of limitation in the state of Ohio, for the police department to get involved with someone who has forged a quit claim deed. I discovered it in 2003 and just notified the police because i lived in another state and have been in and out of va mental wards. I was told that i had to notify the police department within a year of discovery. is that true. i have a lawyer who is working on this situation for me.
