Do they need a reason to fire me?Posted by Nikki Bradely on August 04, 2005 at 19:32:51:
I have worked with this company for a little over a year. My boss tends to play favorites. I only work with 5 people usually in the office. She basically only likes one girl. In my opinion I have done nothing wrong. I guess what is bothering me is we had a review a month ago. My boss gave me not so good of a review. She told me no one got a great review because her boss told her if she is too nice to the employees through the review he will know she isn't being honest in the review. So she chose to give me the bad review, her favorite employee the excellent review, and the third person to get a review got a fair one. Basically she had me under the impression that I was doing nothing wrong and everyone got a bad review. Not true she lied to me. I have seen all the reviews myself. Also as far as I know she is not deducting time off of her favorite employees time card, but deducting missed time on everyone elses. Her and her favorite employee close the office early, they leave and shop during the day. It is things like this that are repeatedly going on. I have suffered emotional stress from my job for months and also mistreatment. I am on the verge on getting fired for a reason I am unaware of. Do I need a warning before I get fired? I haven't got one yet. Also, I was working fulltime, I recieved vacation hours from working fulltime. I switched to part time and the company took my vacation away. Is this all right?
