The persistent flood of bankruptcies over the past few years has led to a steady decline in customers' payment behavior. While, in the private sector, credit periods of two to three weeks are normal, credit periods of up to 120 to 150 days are no rare occurrence, not only in industry and commerce but also in the services sector. This ever more frequently leads to financial bottlenecks for small to medium-sized businesses, which is why managing your debt collection is gaining in importance all the time.

How we can be of assistance to you!
Our experience in the collection field shows that, when an attorney is involved, a large percentage of claims can be collected quickly, without initiating collection proceedings or the filing of legal actions. But in the event a lawsuit is necessary your should consider this:

While it may be possible for you to initiate collection proceedings on your own without an attorney, you may do so only if your are an individual creditor. Corporations must be represented by a licensed attorney in court. Let our firm assist you in collecting your debts!

Fees
The Law Offices of Rosen & Zimmerman charges between 5% and 15% of the outstanding debt as an advanced retainer in collection matters plus 25% of any amount recovered. The amount of the initial retainer depends on the size of the outstanding debt. Should litigation be necessary there would be an additional up front fee of $250.00 to cover the cost of the court's filing fee and service of process. All other costs of the litigation are billed on a monthly basis as incurred.
